Had been using the Doona stroller for 5 months now. It is super sturdy and easy to handle. We love the flame red canopy and the overall appearance of the stroller. After using it for few months here’s my overall reaction: Pros: Handy Easy to install Can be pushed with just one hand without it getting swiveled Looks very posh, always get compliments from older parents Cons: Very heavy, it itself weighs about 16lbs and is pretty bulky. To get the stroller in and out of the car you’ll need a good amount of rooms. Gets hard when there’s a car parked next to you Another problem is when heavy moves her legs, her ankle hits the strap lock, and most of the time she is hurt and starts crying. We have started to keep a towel/blanket under her feet to save those tiny ankles. This I feel is a major design issue that Doona should take care of
Only way I know to reach seller(Kaspien). There is a button you have to press in on the car seat base to get the car seat out. Sometimes when you press it in it gets stuck and won’t come back out. It’s currently stuck in right now and I can’t get it to come back out for the car seat to lock into it. How can this get resolved? Thanks
I gave it 4 stars because my box arrived totally beat up and it was semi open. Post office had to wrap it in a plastic bag to keep it intact, but I will say that we are in Japan. Nothing was missing, everything was intact, so can’t complain. Now the stroller 5 out of 5!!! It moves so smooth and so easy to open and close. I will point out though that it is a pretty heavy car seat but that is expected with being a stroller car seat combo. It’s very pretty! I just wish that it came with some sort of storage but again I can see why it wouldn’t or couldn’t because of the design. Overall I’m so excited to try this out once my baby is born!! It does take up some car space as the cars in Japan are small but not a deal breaker for me. It arrived on time the day it said it was scheduled for coming to Japan so that was great!
Me encanta todo de el , y que es cómodo a la hora de salir y de no andar cargando con la carreola aparte . Pero creo que es demasiado angosta , para mi gusto además de que mi bebé siempre a sido gordito , él tiene 6 meses , siento que ya va a necesitar otra en poco tiempo . Sin decir , que cuando le pongo suéter queda muy apretado
We love our doona car seat/stroller and it's the best investment we made for our baby. It is very convenient. But just want to leave a comment about the straps. It leaves a red mark on my baby's thighs like it's too tight or something so I am not sure if there's a little bit of discomfort my little one is getting from it. Otherwise, it is great.
